- Description
- Jeffrey Brown's deceptively simple illustrative style examines relationships under a microscope -- most frequently, his own. In a series of adult collections, Brown chronicles, often in non-chronological order, moments from his day-to-day life, usually focusing on the minutiae of small interactions and specific moments, including several romantic relationships and his own evolution as a cartoonist. His heavily caricaturized characters capture surprisingly subtle emotions, and much of his work has an observational quality. He's also parodied his own style and his love of popular culture in several works, including the Transformers spoof Incredible Change-Bots. Start with: Clumsy
